Crosby is a good player, but he doesn't play like a hockey player should play. His personality is a bad example, his leadership is not the best, and every time he is touched he looks to the referee for help.

@JasJ002 I'm saying he performs like the greats in the playoffs. Sedin the most outstanding? hahah easily Crosby this year. He was dominating the league and he did it playing with kunitz and dupuis not with a twin brother who is the reigning MVP and Art Ross winner.

You say his best attribute is his ability to play in the playoffs, you say he's won every award, and then you mention that he's never WON the award for most valuable player in the playoffs. He's won each of the awards you listed one time in 5 years. You wanna argue he was the best player in the 07 season, ya he was. You take out that season he's been outstanding but not the best. This year its prolly Sedin.

@JasJ002 Every award as in the hart art ross Lindsay Rocket richard and he would have swept them all this season if it was not for a blindside hit. Crosby also is amazing in the playoffs with 27 and 31 point runs which he was back to back Smythe runner up so... He also has the worst set of wingers for a first line center in the league and still Dominates the league.

@Sinco1967 Every award? He's won 4 awards in 5 years. In fact take out his 2006-07 season, and in the other 4 seasons what individual awards in regards to skill has he won? Calder, Hart, Lindsay, none of them in his other 4 seasons. Don't get me wrong he's a great player and any team would prolly be better to have him, but to say he's the greatest player in the NHL is stretching it. (BTW only difference individually between Crosby and Lindros's first 5 years is an Art Ross trophy)

@JasJ002 Crosby is already better than Lindros. Crosby has every award and would have won them all again this season and he does it while playing with scrubs... not to mention he is amazing in the playoffs when it counts.
