Im in Edinburgh and there are just as bad if not worse areas here..I think in some way you are trying to glorify and perpetuate the 'hard city' image that Glasgow once had. In all reality there are far worse cities in the UK than Glasgow.

@MrDjc1970 Stohveees! Love 'em. Yeah, i have done Buckinghamshire too, well Milton Keynes....Its not quite in sync with the general Buckinghamshire perception, but still Bucks! Even though i have spent a lot of time in England, I still claim that Caledonia is my home! Exccept for last winter when i got snowed in, in Greenock for 3 weeks, over xmas and NYE, i was cursing it a bit. haha, peace my fellow Jockney!
