Kirsten Brydum, Rest in Peace

Kirsten Brydum (1/22/1983-9/27/2008) was a community activist from San Francisco. One of her projects was the "Really Really Free Market" in San Francisco. This interview is from the Summer of 2007.

Miss Brydum was murdered [shot in the head] by lowlife thugs in the notorious ninth ward of New Orleans in late September of 2008.

The only parties to be angry at here are the murderers. These are the same people that looted their own city after Katrina, shot at the rescue helicopters, created an urban death zone in Sept 2005, and so on. She was not robbed, according to New Orleans police, robbery was not the intention. She was shot merely because her skin color. wow, i just accidentally crossed paths with Kirsten through the videos on the "Really Really Free Market". it's crazy because she was my best friend's step sister (though i only met her once and in passing) and i remember her coming to me as a shoulder to cry on when Kirsten was murdered, and now i've accidentally crossed paths with her and found that we had a very common interest. i wish i would have gotten to know her when i got the chance. RIP :'(
