@pillsburydoughboy47 So 100 miles in one workout?... assuming you run a 7 minute mile, and can do so 100 times in a row, that would take 700 minutes, or 11 and 2/3 hours.. i really doubt anyone has the time to do that and also theres no way to have enough energy for that.

The link is dead. I'm very interested in purchasing one. Any other links?

I wonder, is it possible to do these without using the mommentum of the hammer? As in, slow, controlled motions?

amazing. I am currently using the sledge hammer for overall conditioning and I assure you it works...and Im a woman!!!!!

Awesome stuff guys!

i would call snatch "Thor" hahah

Hitting a truck tire and getting the sledge to bounce back up to chest level is like starting your deadlifts at the knee! This whole truck thing is such BS. Swing that sledge into oft ground if you want to get something out of it. And buddy you'd also be losing that 20 pounder and looking for a 10.

Awesome

the "ancient Hebrew" "workout;" run for about 1 mile, then "snatch" a "hot dog" type weight, could be a military bag, or a 90 lb punching bag. Then, run another mile, and then hoist the 90 lb bag again. Repeat about 800 times. Okay okay, okay, 100 times. I'm serious; to mimick the brutality ancient Hebrew goat herders went through, run for one mile, and at the end of one mile, hoist 90 lbs over your shoulders, carry it for about 50 feet, then run another mile, and repeat 100 times.
Hey I love you guy's vids. It's really given me a lot of great ideas. But I have a question... what size warhammer would you recommend for someone who trains with a 70lbs KB and can do ladders with an 88lbs KB.

@CLing5 A 20lb can be pretty challenging especially if you're not used to the exercises we posted on there. However, if you can mess with the 88 then anywhere between 20 and 40. (big gap I know:) We use the 20 for more conditioning and functional strength purposes (grip strength, etc) but heavier with a 30 or 40 would be one hell of a strength workout.

@warrith Thanks man! Always fun to think outside the box with all unconventional tools. Why be limited to what people say you can do with a sledgehammer!!??
