  • Thank you for taking the time to put this tribute together! Just amazing, almost no words to describe the man. What a rich voice he had and such a talent. Truly no one else like him ever. Miss you YUL!

  • poor maria schell kicked the proverbial bucket some years ago. i saw her on german-liingo tv and she had the roadmap of europe all over face. she was the sister of max schell. he must be in his EIGHTIES by now, surelly?

    Дайте ходу, ходу иноходцу

    Дуй киргиза-хана по бокам

    да не натягивай коню постромки

    дайте ходу, ходу лошадям

This is more or less the first strophe. But with the pronunciation of Brynner any ressemblance to Russian seems pure coincidence. ))) He just mumbles something that any russian considers not his language )

  • this wonderful music, I will be very happy if you be so kind to tell me how I can get in one CD? as I've exhausted all researchs.

    my warmest regards, marizu baldassarini
