Album - A-Lex
Track #18

[Lyrics]
The blame I took it
The shame I've passed
The choice to leave another life unchanged
Expanding world
It's a disease
They forced their peace into my veins and brain
Another rude fall
Down on my knees
I couldn't breathe I thought I was insane
The drug TV is there for all to see
To show you brother you have no other way

This is not life!

The choice to leave one's free will behind
Leads to a mind blowing paradox
I trust my feelings
My only guide
I only say what I say to hear what I don't hear
Another rude fall
Down on my knees
I couldn't breathe I thought I was insane
The drug TV is there for all to see
To show you brother you have no other way

This is not life!
My free will died when they took my mind

  • God this is horrible. Andreas has been dragging the Sep name through the mud since '97.... and Roots sucked ass too. Long live old Sepultura! RIP 1983-1994.

  • Awesome riff before the solo!!

  • The bottom line is the drummer makes a metal band what it is. Igor was Sepultura. I think Derrick rocks, I saw him live and he kicked ass! But the unique drumming is what made Sepultura. This is fine for what it is, but it doesn't sound like Sepultura. Where's that core sound? Igor has it. Just like Slayer. Yes, Paul Bostaph rocks...but who would you rather hear playing drums? Paul or Lombardo?

  • Fuckin great album (and great movie also).

  • LMAO EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS SUCKS SUCKS DICK hahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

  • Max doesn't play that often, ??? He's on tour constantly and have you even heard the first Cavalera Conspiracy album?? That's better than any Sepultura album since chaos ad

  • awesome song!

  • @linchpin313 I have to agree 100%. To Me, Max is a piss poor guitarist, pretty good vocalist and a really great guy. What made Beneath/Arise shine (in my opinion, of course) was the Kisser's classical backround. Without his leads or flair in playing, they would have been very, VERY generic Thrash albums. I respect the Cavalara brothers and what they do but I think people put too much weight on their significance.

  • @linchpin313 thank god a reasonable opinion.thanx ;)

  • Derrick is good but i prefer Max though. I respect both as being very good musicians.
