We frame the 1st floor of the Las Vegas project.

  • @rjsaunders92 Ryan, there are a couple of ways. Shear straps on the shear walls are embedded during concrete(see our foundation videos) and then nailed to framing in accordance with specs. Also, bolts are embedded during foundation process where the walls will be. Bottom plate is drilled to allow embedded bolts to be fastened. If during inspection, straps or required bolts are missing, they have to be "retroed". That requires drilling the concrete and installing bolts with an epoxy adhesive.
