  • Magic. Got it.

  • @MRSketch09 for medical use aspect think "Star Trek medical tricorder" as an extreme application. They are talking about an optical transmission channel that ignores skin. Though, obviously the context is more medical research than clinical use to display formation of molecules and cells without being invasive or interfering directly with a living organism.

    This is definitely interesting stuff!

  • Profit.

  • @djsuperstar717 haha, don't mind don't mind, i was excited my send when i glance over and saw 2.5GB/s

  • actually, since each 1 bit = 1 hz

    300thz = 300.000.000.000.000 hz = 300.000.000.000.000 (bits) /8 (byte) / 1024 (kb) / 1024 (mb) / 1024 (gb) / 1024 (tb) = 34,1060513 tbps on each wire

    of course the safe speed would be lesser

  • @Rayz093 My math is fine,

    From all the excitement, I mistakenly thought 1GB = 100MBs

  • @djsuperstar717 err... that's actually 250MBps, learn your math

  • YESSS!!!! 25MBs per second X 10 = 2.5GBs per second!!!!

  • yeah it affects our economy as in they get more jobs and money while we get 4000p tv and lose jobs very very smart form of making money for them

  • @JogBird I read an article, 3 years ago, that said tv manufacturers were looking into quantom dot technology for making ultra high definition tvs. UHD tv's have 16 times the number of pixles of a 1080p display! Those boobs should look real good at 4320p right? A demonstration of UHD has been seen at CES recently.

  • @GivingMindlessAdvice

    Right, because the largest sector in the USA (entertainment) won't be able to use this at all, say to stream full 1080p (or even 4k in the future) directly to every home in the country.....blind sighted moron.

  • @GivingMindlessAdvice Their economy affects ours.
