The SheaCycle is a pedal powered nut grinder.

It has the potential to improve the income of hundreds of thousands of impoverished women in West Africa by allowing them to produce a surplus of shea butter which they can sell in the local or international markets.

  • i think your machine needs a diaper

  • If I heard you right you said the shell is also ground into the butter, from what I know of shea butter, it is not desirable, to have the shells in the butter. The reason for this, is that the nuts are roasted, and if the shells are left in the finished butter has an extreemly strong smokey scent.

  • Neat machine, neater economic idea! I'm sure that I'm not the first person to observe that it looks like the machine is pooping. :)

  • esta conmadre we need more power man made tools in a world that if all live like Americans the world would be destroyed
