    I fully accepted that global warming was real when I saw how the "debate" in America was between climate scientists and right-wing political pundits.

    So when scientists develop a pill that can save your life you take it straight away, but when they warn you about global warming you tell them to fuck off...

    That's not an intelligent way of coming to acceptance of such a position. It reeks of political bias.

    You don't understand how carbon credits work or their purpose. Who's advocating NOT investing in renewable energy?

    carbon credits have to purchased by companies and to be able to buy them they have to increase prices on the goods - just another form of tax.

    so why not instead invest into renewable energy or research of cold fusion?

    @fretbuzz59

    you need to look at the wider picture. first of all its not climate change activists its global warming alarmists that im talking about. there is no one that will deny climate change, because, well, earth climate is always changing(temps go up and down), Rmember the black plague? Little Ice age? i bet if it happened today we would have global cooling crisis ohh wait we did....

    google: times magazine 1977 cooling

    and yet again stop confusing climate change with pollution geniuses

    first of all you need to realize the difference between global warming and pollution. second of all all that data and graphs that was presented by globl warming scientists have been proven to be faked. add the 12 year cycle of the sun(solar maximum in 2013) and you have it

    The stupidity of arguments like yours never cease to amaze me. First off, the fossil fuel is the most profitable industry in history! The idea that there's more money in carbon credits--as if selling carbon credits is a for-profit enterprise--is beyond moronic. And how do climate change activists benefit from "taxing people"? They don't, you fool. And if we didn't fuck up the Earth, we wouldn't have to clean it up.

    Seriously? What do you think causes warming.... pollution. Besides, we only have one Earth man. Do you really want to assume that the drastic climate change occurring is natural, or take preventative precautions to guarantee humans don't fuck up the planet? Personally, I'd rather not take the risk. We have no experimental planet. Climate warming does occur naturally, but why don't you look at the rate of change we are facing now. THAT is what is daunting. Check out experimental models too.
