In the Heights won Broadway's highest honors by first winning its heart. In the Heights is a musical about the importance of home, family and finding where you belong.
In the Heights tells the universal story of a vibrant community in Manhattan's Washington Heights -- a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open, and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. @saintsnbraves2 Sometimes in the midst of helping our fellow man, we need to recharge our batteries with a little fun and good cheer. That's what these things are all about, IMO.
I'm in the middle of a job search, and the lack of opportunities has given me a wee bit of depression. Watching this video made me smile and feel happy for the first time in weeks! Not every altruistic action has to be the size of parting the Red Sea. Sometimes just giving someone a glass of water is a lifesaver.
