@Mark1Mach2 Fucking shit.. i hope they continue to produce more ZS3 .. 'cause it's hard to find it here in Brazil.. shit! thanks!!!

@Luckzzz umm even with some extra money in hand, I personally would go for the ZS3. ZS7 gives more manual control, which I don't really use. iA mode in ZS3 is good enough for me. GPS I would never use. 2 MP extra on the same sensor on ZS7 would actually put more strain on the sensor and effect image quality.
The surprising thing however is that ZS3 price is actually going up steeply as they are running out of stock!

@Mark1Mach2 thanks so much!
Its a good point.. but.. with money in pocket, what would u get?
ZS3 or ZS7 ?? lol

@Luckzzz There is Tz10 (ZS7)on the horizon as well.
I compared ZS3, Hx5v and TZ10 mostly from the web. Look at the videos of Hx5v here on youtube.
Although Hx5v has impressive set of features like pano and hdr but in the end I liked the sharp pictures, video and audio of the ZS3 the best. I am going for the ZS3 (TZ7) once its price drops after the arrival of ZS7!

Can I see snow all the year in the Rocky mountains, especitally in summer (between June, July) ??? If it is true I would prefer to travel in July, but my vacation is only in December :(
So maybe I will take a LOT of rain .. LOL
Do you think that the stereo sound makes a big difference?

@liaminabox It's hard to say how much of a difference it makes... however I do find that the sound quality is quite good, but the feature that I like a lot is the cut wind feature. So those windy days and when you've got your camera out the window it keeps the wind noise down.

What would you recommend? To buy TZ7 or waits until this march to the new Sony HX5V (it costs $350 + $99 of memory card) ???

@Luckzzz
Don't spend more on cards than you have to... i bought from a local SD card maker here in Toronto. I got a 16 GB class 6 card for 60 CAD. As for Camera... I like this one, but it has little in manual features... Keep researching, and get the right camera for you for the purpose you intend to use it for.
