RiversmART June2009

River smART is a cultural tour along the White River launched by the Indianapolis Art Center in partnership with Friends of the White River. Joyce Sommers, Indianapolis Art Center and Kevin Hardie, Friends of White River organized the outing which included paddlers Max Anderson, Indianapolis Museum of Art; Frank and Katrina Basile, Indianapolis Art Center; Pam Blevins Hinkle, Spirit & Place Festival; Kelly Teller, Indianapolis Art Center; Bob Whitt, White River State Park; Mark Williams, Indianapolis Art Center and Tamara Zahn, Indianapolis Downtown Inc. Special thanks to helmsmen and kayaker lookouts James Nichols, Tailwynd; Dan Valleskey, Hoosier Canoe Club; Tom McCain, Friends of White River and Kevin Harmon, Indianapolis Art Center. Eiteljorg's Sky City Cafe provided the lunches and Indianapolis Museum of Art and Indy Parks provided shuttle service.
