Phew! This was not an easy review to do. And let me tell you, this may be the stupidest review I've written so far (even worse than Revenge of the Fallen) because I don't think I've given enough detail out there... Maybe that's just me, but... wow this was hard to review. Damn you, Rankin/Bass for having such pervereted material over a good story...

Anyway, this was requested by Hewy Toonmore, who desparately wanted me to review this movie. And he he tapped my shoulder like crazy! it drove me nuts. At least it's done and over with... Enjoy.

  • Congratulations on going this entire review without a single MLP ref!

  • @Godzillant

Why? Don't like the show or something?

  • I wonder if this film inspired the My Little Pony franchise.

  • @JadenXDemonMan

I doubt it althought I can see where you're coming from if you were to compare the design of Amalthea to Princess Celestia. lol

  • This movie scared the shit out of my sister when she was about 4

  • @Bandersnatch41 It was the 80's.

  • I know what you mean. I frist saw this when i was twelve. And i was like this is a movie that starts out with a singing butter file and then cuts to a bird monster with big titties that goes on a killing spere. What the fuck!

  • @GoldenFox17 I can see the similarities between them minus the wings and flowing mane.

  • @Hewylewis

Woops, and so I did. I'm sorry.

  • @Hewylewis

    Fixed. Thanks.

  • Surprisingly I never saw this movie when I was a kid. I saw it after I read the book at age 15. I really like this movie, its one of my top 10 favorites of all time, and my second favorite fantasy film behind the The Lord Of The Rings trilogy.
