This is one of the most beautiful clips i've ever seen. i remember watching this on tv with an open mouth!
and actually, i'm like Stephen's photographer companion in his view on chimps - i've never been fond of chimps because of the nasty things they can do, like humans. but this just absolutely melted me!
despite how i feel, they are wonderful creatures!

The scary thing about grown up chimps is that they're so freakin' strong.

One of the most touching, heart-warming moments in film clips, yes. Two strange, grown chimps embracing two little and scared toddlers --- you can see how the toddlers started moving rapidly back towards the humans when the big females were first let out of the wooden door, moving toward them/the babies --- and then started grooming and playing with them like their own babies. Very touching, indeed.

Stephen had a cold and they didn't want to risk him spreading anything to the animals.
