  • i not afraid of goverments, i and more afraid corporates greed bastards trying to control my life-

  • Fascinating topic!

  • I've use open source software since about 2001 and my only regret is that I didn't dump Microsoft Windows sooner.

One problem we face in the open source community is that hardware manufacturers tend to make the hardware "proprietary" thus legally hiding the details. Open source programmers must reverse engineer the driver files needed so the operating system can talk to the hardware. That's a tragedy as the end result is higher quality software.

Open source software is excellent (and free).

  • He has the same headphones as me... AKG K240, they're great ;-)

  • 3d printing has great potential Nick. Have a look on youtube if you aren't very familiar how it kinda works.

Nice interview, however , maybe someday Devin will think a little more about trying to get involved in politics etc and decide that his time could be better used to actually continue what he's doing already. Sounds like he's doing some nice stuff right now.

  • Great interview.

  • i think you are thinking of instructables

although this is probably aim more at bigger and more complicated stuff
