this is a great camera for its price range. its quite surprising how much control you have over the image properties .. dynamic range, colours, scopes etc. Good Leica lens (28.5 at wide end), and i didn't notice any colour aberration. Its very light too (good if your carrying it all day!); has a large mattebox (no filter vents though). Onboard mic is ok(ish) but of course you wont be using that! Buy an ext. mic: NGT2 goes well with this. Negatives: no 1080/50P, Fixed lens.
