You use it to show off and Gain some Yards here and their, You can't expect him to do a whole lot when they only give Him the ball 5 times a game, that means he doesn't have the chance to get into a rythum

The U definitely had the best backfield in 2001 with Willis McGahee, Frank Gore, Clinton Portis, Najeh Davenport, and Jarrett Payton. 4 future NFL players, three of them have been pro-bowlers and McGahee probably would've been one of the best in the NFL if he hadn't torn his ACL, MCL, and PCLs. They were ridiculous in college.
