Okay, to the person below me. WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE. don't tell my cousin what song is right for her father and daughter dance. seriously who do you think you are. smart ass. no one asked you in the first place. It's not about the music, its about whats happening in the moment. Aye go make a time machine and change the song if that will satisfy you ok? so yeah shutup

This song is about a guy talking about the bad things you cannot change in a girl because of the way she was raised. Hence him(john mayer) talking to fathers about their daughters. I dont think this song fits with a father/daughter dance. But....to each his own.
