  • Why did you choose not to tour the basement? Why did you skip 'B'?

  • I tried to push "B" but the basement is locked :(

  • I think this elevator is from the mid 1960's, because of the vintage Dover logo.

  • yes because the Blackburn Science Building has these same fixtures and it was built in 1969

  • Right, because the Impulse fixtures are easy to identify, with 1980-1987 being squareback, and 1988-2000 being roundback. Also, the same thing holds true with Classic & Vandal Resistant fixtures.

  • @CaptainElevator42189 actually squareback logo was 1970 to 1987 and roundback 1988 to 2000

  • 1955 to 1970 was the vintage logo, 1970 to 1985 was squareback, and 1985 to 2000 was roundback.

  • @CaptainElevator42189 was it 1969 or 1970 that the squareback logo was first used?

  • I LOVE the motor wind-up and wind-down!

  • I really, really do love these fixtures. They're so pretty!

  • @dieselducy actually Blackburn Science Building was built in 1967

  • That is awesome for catching a hit or two on the ol' bowl. If I were in charge, I'd make everyone leave the fan on at all times.

  • Do you ever just press the call button, let the doors close and just sit it it?
