Trying a new technique by mic'ing the Leslie and not using the camera mic at all. Personally I think it sounds great!

  • Any particular reason you're using the pedals? I love chording with the pedals..I have a Hammond M with Leslie 45 with a converter on it so chorale will spin slowly and not stop entirely. Enjoy your vids very much!

  • found it! reverbnation the palmer family

    V1. When a man with his hand lifted to’ard heaven

    With his foot on the land and the sea

    Swears by Him that lives forever

    That time is no longer to be;

    When the rich man, the poor, and free man

    Cry for rocks and the mountains to hide,

    You will hear me shout when I see him:

    “Goodbye, Hallelujah, I am gone.”

  • this one awesome song! but i can't find the song on the net anywhere so i can pick out the verses of goodbye hallelujah i'm gone. can ya help a guy out bro?

  • Absolutely remarkable! Does your group have any CD's for sale?

  • Hey brother, can you give me the full names of these songs? so i can locate the lyrics, really blessed me.

  • LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!! Thats what i'm talking about....GREAT JOB!!!!

  • Ohhh yeah its sounds great micd!!

  • I have searched everywhere for good anointed campmeeting style organ music such as David Davis played in the tent meetings of A.A. Allen during the Healing Revivals in '50's and 60's at Miracle Valley. Mic'ing directly to the Organ makes a tremendous difference in quality of sound. Thank you for posting this music and what you do! This is a blessing from the Lord! God Bless you!

  • Direct micing definately sounds 100% better. That's the best way to record a Hammond. Have one mic on the Treble Rotor and a mic on the Bass Rotor. Best of both worlds there!!

  • Hey guy! Loving all of your vids. Im a piano player so pardon the question but, why do you switch the Leslie on and off so much? Is it for effect? I love to hear the wavy sound that comes out of your box! Woo hoo!!! : ) We just love watching you play. Bless you ...now remember I have asked that you make a video for us piano players and show us some of your tricks in "slow motion" ; ) !! Hee hee!! We love you!
