@rockolutheran Nope, not cheap either. Merc doesn't sell the current e coupe (replacement of the latest clk) in amg version, but if they would, it'd prolly cost like 85 grand or so

At times I do miss the car. But you gotta move on at sometime. I do swear by the AMG Benz . Only problem is how fast they drop in value. A $65k car that drops to the $20k range after not so many years. Driving a new one is a combination of having a super car and at the same time letting everyone know you have money to flaunt. I almost grabbed an SLK 55amg, but needed 4 doors (and all wheel drive) so currently I have a silver 04 E500 4-matic. So beautiful inside and out, and I can drive it insnow

@Imabenzman Hey, Im thinking about buying a 55amg or a 430. I'm fearful of dumping money into the car. I'm looking to spend 8-10 grand and I know that means a car around 100k miles on it. I live in michigan so we get lots of snow, is the car okay or is it just competely unacceptable? I'm going to be using this car every day. How much can I expect to spend to keep this car going? They are beautiful cars, better than the new clk, and with 354 horsepower they're real muscle cars.

@porsche911CarreraRSR Dont bother with the 430 (although it would be more affordable). The 55 is much more powerful and is the amg (brakes,suspension much better). Sorry to say I suggest against it as a daily driver. It will be useless in the snow. Unless you lived down south, i'd say its more of a 2nd car to have and only drive it during warmer seasons. Plus gas mileage isn't that great and cost of repairs can be outrageous. It was a $60k + new, so really a car for those who have money
