  • I won't believe corporations are people until Texas executes one. My friend...

  • Unlike human people, corporations can live forever and accumulate wealth indefinitely.

Unlike human people, corporations cannot be incarcerated, can change their identity in a day, and can own and even merge with others of their own kind.

Corporations don’t need fresh air to breathe, clean water to drink, or safe food to eat and can create offspring without giving birth.

If corporations are persons, they are conscienceless sociopaths.

  • @Farenheit4051 Bingo

  • Romney is partially right. They do provide benefits to people. The problem is that the people on top benefit a lot more than the people on the bottom.

  • @nkelly1432 Abolish the corporate tax and treat capital gains like normal income. That will automatically do away with the so called "carried interest loophole", create incentives to bring back the trillions that corporations have stashed away broad and also end the "Buffett Rule" demagogery.

  • GOT EM

  • @yogishkamath I agree corporate tax rate should be less progressive than the individual income tax. But I believe the individual income tax should be more progressive than it is now. The top rate should be at least 40%, which is 5% more than it is now. I believe in Britain, it is 50%.

  • The point he made is correct. When you tax a corporation, the burden is borne by the shareholders, employees and vendors of the corporation ..... i.e people.

Liberals will lose a debate on this issue, which is why they never debate it... Infact, such a debate would also reveal that the other big liberal idea.... the so called Buffett rule.... is also based on the same lie (The taxes paid by Berkshire Hathaway are paid by the shareholders of the company... which includes Buffett)

  • corporatons are not people. they are run by people but they are not people themselves

  • First of all, he is not our friend. Visit movetoamend (I hate that we can't put in a full website name on here).

  • mitt the ripper...

  • No, corporations are most definitely not people! They lack a soul, a conscience, and a heart... just like Mitt Romney.

  • corporations are made up of GROUPS of people, but that DOES NOT mean the corporation itself is a person!

In the almost half century I've been paying attention to SC rulings, that is about the dumbest one they've come up with.

  • lol no, romney. no.

  • Unhealthy corporations = unhealthy America.

    Romney builds HEALTHY corporations

Corruption and greed in corporations are often the first thing ELIMINATED when he consults.

Trust me, you would rather work for a corporation Romney has cleaned up, than for any of the hecklers who have posted here.

(Of course you can work for Toyota or Sony if you want to strengthen foreign corporations instead)

  • I'll believe corporations are people when TEXAS EXECUTES ONE , REPUBLICANS FOR BIG CORPORATIONS , RUN BY PEOPLE WITH SMALL MINDS !

  • @TOAFN Brilliant line!!
