I was a kid (not quite a teenager) in the 70's. I learned to ride skateboard on those types of boards. I hate skateboards of today, they are like riding a small surfboard with wheels. Skateboards back in the day were smaller and a lot less expensive, and were fast!!

@DakotaY24 yeah but you couldnt even pop proper on those things and because they were so small namely the trucks you couldnt grind.
but then they had way different tricks back then.
