There are cheaper ways to feed lion fish. Even though damsels are cheap, it's as much as a trip to McDonald's for each one he eats.

@pronster1 Damsels are feed to lionfish and thats a fish and live rock tank that means that butterfly fish and the lion and grouper are in that mixed tank for a reason one because they will get along and two they would destroy corals.

Lionfish will only eat fish that will fit in his/her mouth. So if you want one...don't buy small fish. Owners of Lionfish will be feed them Damsels, and smaller feeder fish as a treat every once in awhile. Squid and shrimp are best for them. Get over it, it's nature. Now if you don't feed your Lionfish, that's asking for trouble in the tank.
