Yeah? CS Lewis was Christian, became an atheist at 15, and converted back to Christianity in later life.

Just ignore him. He's probably just trying to make you behave in an unchristian way so he can call you a hippocrite.

Terrorism and politics, 2 world wars, economic reecssions, foot and mouth disease.

But....in Revelations God marks 144,000 people not to be touched.

Since God is goodness and only truly evil people can stand in front of God and continue to be evil - and God would not let good people go to hell - that indicates that when Revelations arrives there will only be 144,000 good people left on the entire Earth! Out of billions! That far more corrupt than even we are today.

Well...you believe in the Big Bang...which is a pretty weird belief: That the universe began by a supernatural event.

What we call 'natural' physical laws came into existance somewhere between 10^-37 and 10^-11 seconds after expansion began ( Kolb and Turner (1988), chapter 7).

That theory seems no less strange and unstable than a God to me. Yet you and I choose to believe in it. Weird isn't it?

Oh...well, the answer is I don't know. And that's Ok...you cannot force a person to answer a question they don't know. Neither does the fact that I don't know mean God doesn't exist, if that is what you are driving at.

I have only one response to that: Could not or Would not?

Well done, well done, well done!

There must be quite a few people in that area who think, to put it tactfully, that a jigsaw assembles itself. I'm doing biology, and at the advanced levels talk of religion being ousted by evolution shifts back in favour of God.

Thank you for continuing to believe! You're an inspiration! I hope there are other believing scientists out there as well.

God says what we do and don't do in this life do not determine who gets into heaven. If they did, Jesus's sacrifice would have meant nothing: his offer of salvation is a gift, not something we have to earn.

All one has to do to recieve a gift is to accept it and what it means: In this case that we have sinned, we truly repent and we ask to be forgiven and come back to God.
