This was the mock up Kenwood showed of the new TH-D72 at Dayton 2010. It was actually made of balsa wood. So it was not functioning. It simply gave you a look and feel of the future unit. No info was released concerning price and launch date.
Kenwood just doesn't care anymore. If they did, they would have a recent competitor for the IC-7600 or the FT-2000. And what's with not having real time bandscopes in 2010? Their new HF/6 rig looks bland and has no bandscope. And a 'mockup' instead of a real handheld at Dayton? Pathetic.
this looks like an updated D7A to me, and 150$ to much
