Canadians make such good music because of the culture. Americans are so success oriented that they, at least sub-conciously, create songs that sound like what's already on the radio. Canadians don't try so hard to "succede", and so end up writing more original sounding music. It's as simple as that. In fact, alot of good Canadian music has been turned away by American music exec's because it didn't sound like what was hot at the time. In America it comes down to sure money over risk! Business!!!
