  • I put in a request for this song months ago and you promised me that you would go through your thousands of 45s to find it and you kept your promise. I cannot thank you enough .. my very favorite by Ronnie Diamona aka Alec Ramos.

  • @wgai1 Thanks for requesting this, Wanda. One of my favorites as well. And thank you for your recollections of Alec Ramos growing up; they are much appreciated.

  • Mahalo Nui Loa! I love this song! Takes me back to the 50s' when I'd go to the Show of Stars w/my big brother. This song was a big favorite w/the locals. Another hit song of Ronnie was "Something's Wrong With Me". Anybody remember that one? I'd love to hear that one again. You da bestez oldiesrnow!

  • @oldiesrnow .. Keep up the great work .. you are so generous to share these songs/memories with us .. I lost my entire record collection of the hit tunes from the '50s in the '60 tsunami in Hilo, Hawaii. Have been searching for years to find this song. Mahalo nui loa

  • @DebraRainify .. Aloha Debbie .. I knew your Dad when he was just 13 years older and for most of our teen years. He lived in Aliamanu on Oahu and graduated from Radford High. It is such a pleasure to know that he has a daughter. I do recall vividly when he performed on AB as I also met Tommy Sands when he came to Hawai'i to perform. No one could sing as well as he did .. God Bless all of you!!!

  • Ronnie Diamond is my father, Alec Ramos. He began recording @13 years old in Hawaii. He made appearances on American Bandstand and toured with Tommy Sands, etc. in the mainland. Eventually, he started a family, but sacrafied his career to help raise us, as it was, touring took him away from the family often. He later incorp. us (his family) in night club acts in L.A. Thank you for posting these songs of my dad.
