  • If i had a lot of money i would never give it to charity, i would go do this myself. no matter how much money you give to charity nothing really changes.

  • This is a job the government should be doing. These NGO's are all on high international salaries. Enjoy international travel. They are the biggest scam to hit the world in years. They are perpupting the poverty they are claiming to fight. Countries don't need Aid they need good governance.

The point you made that I agree with is about showing that you care, I don't know how much donating money 'shows' that you care compared with a hug. If one affords pricy holidays they would earn around £2000 at work if they didn't fly or go to Africa, this would pay for 2 - 3 villages worth of permenant water minimum. Remember: they have caring people, the technology, ideas, but not the money to fund them. It feels like you do less by donating, it takes less from u but = giving more

  • since when does water have anything to do with school? O.o

  • The only reason I'm commenting on this video is because it is has a paid-for spot at the very top of each search. What a waste of fucking money. Action UK should have used those precious pennies to helping kids rather than investing in pointless fucking youtube advertising.

You would incure many more cost yourself than the charity, because you still need to be fed, you still need a place to sleep, you would have to pay for innoculations (excuse the sp), you wold have to pay for transport there, you would probably have to recieve training on how to instal a water pump, you would need to find a supplier for the parts (not easy over there), you would need to know where it is needed. The raw labor you would provide is free there anyway.

Why do you say that nothing changes when you give to charity? - I presume by this that you have not actually worked for a charity. The problem in the poorer regions is not lack of willing people (you are just one), but a lack of power to use that will for good, that is because they do not have education and they do not have money. Money can pay for training of the local people. In donating you don't get to see this, but ask: "do you donate/volunteer for others sake or for yours?"

  • @TCOID3MO5ISI but a charity can spend your money far far more efficiently, and a flight to africa would be very expensive

  • @TCOID3MO5ISI nothing changes at all

  • @TutorialBobby did you even read the rest of my comment or just the first section ?

  • @kayteepotatiiee
