How to register your DivX Certified device using DivX Player

For Those Who Want To clarify... the PS3 can play regular DivX files without having to register it. The registration is only for those that want to playback DivX Video on Demand videos that you buy or rent.

For those wanting to register your PS3 for DivX VOD playback:

Once your PS3 has been updated to firmware v2.5 you will have a DivX VOD registration code available in your system settings on your PS3. Take that code and register it in the DivX Player on your PC to get an activation video file. Burn that file to CD and play it on your PS3. Once you do this the PS3 will now be registered and ready to playback DivX VOD content. Here is a video how to on registering certified devices if you need any further assistance:

**One more note** - For anyone who gets an error after clicking their DivX Account verification link in their DivX Account verification email, try logging in regardless, as sometimes the link will display an error but still verifies the account. If you can't log in then contact DivX support and they will verify it for you. This is only applicable if you are setting up a DivX Account for the first time

looking for software application; something simple; that will take an audio phrase; like; "I like your truck" and loop it. Then.. speed it up 440 cycles per second; say.... with ability to control it; (that frequency) .. and either speed it or slow it down. That's all I want in life; at the moment. Then I can continue with phase one of an idea that can (in phase three) change the world. So.. If you have any ideas of a software package; app. or program that can do that .. let me know. THANKS!
