One of our trainers Adam Di Bella preforming 1 leg Bosu Ball Squats w/ a 45lb plate for 5 reps per side. These take alot of balance and core strength.

I saw a guy at our rec center do this ON TOP OF A SWISS BALL. Same weight, same pistol squat. He JUMPED up on top ot the ball with both feet to begin.
My jaw just about hit the floor when I saw it.
(He is a current World Cup ski racer.)
I've been searching for a vid on YouTube of this feat, but so far this is as close as I've found.

When he picked up 45lbs I thought, well I can do that, then he got on the ball and I thought, maybe I can do that, then he did it with 1 leg, wow.
