I've gotten to play with a lot of cool toys since I started doing reviews but this is one of the few times where I'm gonna go out and buy the item I'm reviewing. The Sony SRS-TP1 is a lightweight, compact, low-energy consumption portable speaker that'll let you bring your music with you anywhere. This speaker system finally fixes all of the gripes I've had while using other speakers on the road (i.e. bulky, sucks up batteries, terrible sound). Try it out and see for yourself.

Features:
- Integrated 3.5mm input jack works with all portabe electronic devices like Stereos, CD, and MP3 players
- 2 satellite speakers
- Runs off power of main device, No Need for Batteries!
- Approx. $20

Special Thanks to Irina for letting me borrow her gear for this review.

This video was shot with a Canon G9 on loan.

  • @hdjsui yes

  • sorry for any spelling erros my keyboard sucks and my spelling sucks as it is

  • how well do you think this speaker will work in a really loud factry with atlist 3 loud raidios going off and im sitting by myself inspeceting factory parts board and want a speavker like this one so i can be the only one who is able to listen to it so i can be the only one to hear it

  • I use these speakers when travelling to listen to music, audiobooks or radio (via internet). The sound is surprisingly good and I don't mind that it draws down the power on the iPod. It's usually easier and cheaper to find a power outlet to recharge the iPod. Batteries are expensive and disposing of them responsibly is hard. The sound is loud enough. If I know I'll need more power - I sometimes teach from my iPod - I use powered speakers.

  • Nice MP3 player. (I don`t think it is good to use speakers without a battery because they will drain your Ipod/MP3 and won`t sound as loud as speakers with battery)+ they rely on your MP3 player being loud (some don`t have such good output because they are meant to be used with headphones or plugged in amplifier)

    Looks nice and durable though.

  • does it play ipods

  • i don't really like these speakers. i baught them off amazon and when i play it with my walkman mp4 its really quiet. is there anyway to make em louder?

  • Nice toilet paper.

  • tnx for the rev...I luv this speaker =)

  • will this work for garmin gps since it is self power?
