I cant say it enough...that television today doesn't have this sort of heart. Even with all of the excitement, the main idea is focused on love, support, history and family family family. Had soaps continued to be written like this they would have survived....stupid network execs....

Hal sounded like Jan Brady, "Margo, Margo, Margo"

@Oakdalian It makes a lot of sense this way. In the big reveal episode I always thought it seemed like too much, too melodramatic. Actually seeing the buildup, Iva hearing the struggles, knowing why Lily was so cut up, it's a big help.
I guess Lily wasn't looking where she was going and generally the woods were safe. Either that or James was already posing as the gardener.

I love Lucinda and the sunglasses looks like she is mourning already !

@CarlD2 Yes, there was talk around this time about casting Martha Byrne as the new Tattoo on an updated version of Fantasy Island. LMAO!

@ThorneAstor I think they said the drugs Iva took at the time (for childbirth) were so strong that she could only remember bits and pieces.

I wasn't watching at the time but how was Rose's birth and Iva having no memory of her explained? Watching these clips just made me wonder about that.
What a cliffhanger.
Lily has her own little Hervai Villachaze (sorry for the spelling) moment.
Great scenes with so many characters. I can't thank you and atwtfaithful enough for us finally being able to see this.
I said it before but I just love Lindsay Frost's work here.
I'm sorry that they had Tonio become nasty to Meg so soon after this. They have a certain sweet chemistry.

@CarlD2 I was so happy to finally see it too. I think you really have to see what made Iva run to the stables, because it isn't fully explained in the next episode. She talks more about it in the one after that too.
What I don't understand is what kind of "woods" there are from Lucinda's mansion to the stables. Lily looks like she's been through a shredder. At the very least, the estate could use a different gardener.
