Stu Wilson played over 30 tests for the All Blacks between 1976 and 1983, scoring 19 tries - at that time an All Black record. Currently an average TV pundit and commentator, there is no doubting his status as a great All Black. Also at the end a great try by League player Frank Tinatelia, and highlights of a long forgotten rugby game in 1983 between Auck and Sydney.

  • Great vid, good to see on of New Zealand's greatest wingers in action again. I was wondering if you have any footage of that 1985 shield challenge aginst Auckland, one of the greatest Ranfurly shield games of all time.

  • I do have footage of the game of the century. Will post up when I can get some free time.

  • I got on the piss with Stu the other day. Very funny man. And he tells a brilliant story.

  • Amazing skills. I like the modern game, but it turned more on flair and guile in the amateur days; now it's a lot more sheer fitness, speed, strength. Great to watch.

  • Not bad for a lush!

  • Glory to Stu WIlson, one of the all timne great.
