  • not sure i understand about the issue of getting pieces back up into the motor. if pieces are going to move, they are going to be blown back-out the exhaust.. right?

    About to do this on my '11 48.

  • I would not worry about shaving in your engine, its an exhaust so gases only flow out from the engine. You can get pulsing from the gases starting and stopping as valves open and shut, but it would be impossible for this to bring any shavings from the muffler right up the header into the engine. Just enjoy. :-)

  • I have heard you can just push the baffle out with a piece of re-bar but I have not tried it.
