ahh and if update N95 need to reset your phone memory first and then see does the phone memory enough to update a new firmware.. 1 time i tried to update but it stop when updating on half.. but didnt broke my phone thats why i didnt reset my phone memory so it doesnt enough to update so it will stop automatic and will not broke your phone if update fully and screen problem thats mean it faults something maybe.. I need to send a feedback to Nokia and lets see what they say...

My N95 not updated to new firmware yet so i try to update it sometime.. i hope it not happen same as mg428 this video.. I'm now trying my luck :/

i was using mine today and the screen turned upside down, no joke. as in the home screen is upside down, then the screen went purple and it wont boot.

dont listen to him i have the n95 and its the best phone iv ever had and i find theirs nothing wrong with it and i even prefer to the 8GB the guys just lying the wlan always woks and infact im on it right now and the gps always works u just have to buy the map which are pretty cheap as well and the slider is the most comfrotable iv ever had

what about the 8GB version? Same issues or are they resolved with the 8gb ... ?

dont get this phone it has all these features but the battery is terrible so u cant use it, sometimes the wirless lan dont work, the maps application somtimes doesnt work, and the slider is poorly put together it allways rattles and feels lose

After having had this phone for a while, would you still recommend it? Do you think the problems you've experienced are fixed in the newer models?
I'm also considering the N82 (essentially the same phone w/o the sider). Let me know what you think, THanks.

FYI: FYI: The problem turned out to be with the ribbon of the LCD. Many people have it. Nokia repairs it (replaces the LCD). Nokia is consistent as to dealing with this problem. Nokia replaced the LCD of someone's LCD in Polond, U.S. and Norway.
