Agata Jaworska / Droog - SFU DutchDesign

A trip to the Droog Design store in Amsterdam lead to an impromptu interview with Agata Jaworska, Content and Project Manager for Droog. She discusses a brief history of the Droog Design collective as well as several important projects. She feels that Droog today works much as it has for the past two decades, acting as a reaction to the current state of design and life. Of note is the Tree Trunk Bench she is seated on, designed by Jurgen Bey in 1999. Agata was born in Poland but spent most of her life in Toronto, Canada, where she received a Bachelor of Interior Design with honours at Ryerson University (2002). In 2005 she began studies in the Masters program at Design Academy Eindhoven, graduating in 2007.
