Everett, WA, April 15, 2011- Zumiez Inc., a leading specialty action sports retailer, is coming to a town near you this summer for the 11th Annual Zumiez Couch Tour. The Zumiez Couch Tour 2011 features skateboarding demos by pros Mark Appleyard, Tom Asta, Mike Mo Capaldi, Chris Cole, Dustin Dollin, Erik Ellington, Cairo Foster, David Gonzalez, Terry Kennedy, PJ Ladd, Lizard King, Billy Marks, Guy Mariano, Rodney Mullen, Chad Muska, Luan Oliveira, Torey Pudwill, Paul Rodriguez, Leo Romero, Geoff Rowley, Tommy Sandoval, Daewon Song, Jamie Thomas, Nick Trapasso, Stevie Williams, and many more.
The Zumiez Couch Tour also offers free live music performances by bands including Forever The Sickest Kids, I See Stars, Valencia and Anarbor on the Skullcandy stage.
The tour hits 12 cities with skate demos from Toy Machine, Volcom, Zero, Fallen, Almost, Enjoi, DGK, SUPRA, Alien Workshop, Habitat, & Plan B. Admission to tour stops is free and includes prizes & giveaways from tour partners Contour, Keep A Breast, New Era, Skullcandy, and Transworld SKATEboarding. Warning: The events may also feature skate team autograph signings, an interactive festival area, loud noises, sharp signs, and the possibility of fun!
