A homage to Vincent Price's classic cult films The Abominable Dr Phibes and Dr Phibes Rises Again.

THE STORY
During a charity ride through the Egyptian city of Cairo in mid-1999, British champion cyclist Vincent Mallory is attacked and set on fire by a gang of extremists. A mysterious mute woman Vulnavia appears from nowhere, puts out the fire and takes the badly burnt man into a secret location deep beneath the ancient city.

On the point of death, Vincent is given a few drops of a powerful elixir that saves his life. But he is left horribly scarred and is forced to wear a mask to conceal the horror.

Indebted to his saviour, Vincent must seek out the river of life that will restore himself, his ghostly companion and the lives of two mysterious guardians whose bodies reside in an ancient Egyptian tomb.

The journey takes Vincent and Vulnavia to India and England where they must first retrieve two halves of a map that will show them where the river of life can be located.

One is in the hands of The Brotherhood, a secret fraternity which protects mankind from occult items that could be misused. The other is in the possession of a wealthy Cornish land-owner, Sir Reginald Chritchley, who wants to build his Vesalian Spa on the site of the ancient river source. It is his plan to offer immortality to the rich and famous which would make him the most powerful man on Earth.

But time is at the essence. Vincent and Vulnavia have only five days before the elixir in their bodies expires and if they don't take the waters at the same time as a total eclipse, they will fail themselves and their guardians...
