QUICK NOTE: I'm not a gay rights activist. Please don't add me thinking I am. This is simply a video/poem INSPIRED from the movie. I wrote it from a perspective I don't think a lot of people saw. What I grasped from the movie was that Bobby was indeed a homosexual but he knew that was wrong, which caused a lot of guilt and also additional pressure from his overly-religious family. And those two things are what brought him to his final breaking point, in which he committed suicide. The way his story ended was tragic, and I believe that situations like this need to be handled very delicately. Just wanted to make that clear. Thanks for all the support!
A poem based on the movie "PRAYERS FOR BOBBY." ENJOY!!!

think good thoughts. I believe that Bobby is still by his loving mother's side every day in spirit. Bobby is also in heaven living in peace and in comfort with Jesus.

I did enjoy the poem, but I need to state that being homosexual, lesbian, bi, or trans is NOT WRONG!!! That is a religious mentality and I wish people would stop putting that bullshit on God. He has nothing to do with this severely wrong belief. When will all you misinformed idiots understand this?

Thank you for this, it's lovely. I find that the poem and song gently
forces Bobby into my thoughts(consciousness) after so much time
has passed. For that, I am truly grateful!
Sincerely,
Blaine

Watching this film really affected me. I had never heard of Bobby Griffith before. Such a terrible tragedy at least some good came out of it in the end
