Britney Spears visits with sons

Hello I'm Rebecca Field with today's UPI entertainment update on this Tuesday, February 26, 2008.

Britney Spears is getting to spend more time with her sons. The pop star reportedly had a three hour visit with two year old Preston and one year old Jayden yesterday. The boys were apparently driven to Spears' house by Kevin Federline's bodygard. The singer also saw them on Saturday. That was her first visit with them since January 3. Sources say she's worked out a structured visitation schedule with Federline.

Meanwhile, her sister Jamie Lynn Spears is preparing for her future. Sources tell People magazine the 16 year old Mother-to-be passed her GED high school equivalency exam and is looking to go to college. A friend says she now wants to take the ACT college entrance exam. The "Zoey 101" star has been staying out of the spotlight at home in Louisiana after revealing her pregnancy.

Paris Hilton apparently has a new man in her life. The hotel heiress has been seen around town alongside rocker Benji Madden. He's the twin brother of Nicole Richie's boyfriend Joel Madden. Benji just recently split with his fiancé Sophie Monk, but he and Hilton have been reportedly hand and hand all over the place...hitting the nightclubs together, shopping and even having lunch with his mother.

"The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg is speaking up about being left out of an Oscar montage. On yesterday's show, Goldberg and her fellow co-hosts discussed why she left out of a montage honoring former Oscar hosts. Goldberg, who hosted the Academy Awards four times, appeared sad that she was forgotten. Apparently comedian Steve Martin was also missing in the montage.

Last night's Hip Hop Summit Action Awards honored artists for using their star power for good. Snoop Dogg, Ciara and Mellody Hobson were on the list of honorees at last night's event. Snoop Dogg was recognized for his work with young underprivileged boys in Los Angeles. Ciara has put her efforts into the Save the Music Foundation...helping to bring music education to youth. And Hobson was honored for her work supporting an organiztion teaching financial literacy to kids.
