Visit http://tiger.tv/more_info/?362 to get this handy adapter. The USB 2.0 to IDE or Serial ATA Drive Adapter from Cables To Go turns any IDE or SATA drive into a convenient external drive. Simply connect one IDE/ATAPI or SATA-based mass storage device through a USB port to easily transfer files from a computer or notebook, back up files or store large file archives on an external hard drive. The hi-speed USB interface enables easy installation with its plug-and-play design. The adapter supports all existing IDE/ATAPI devices such as Iomega Zip, CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD-ROM and IDE hard drives, and works with any SATA hard drive from 80GB to 500GB. The USB 2.0 to IDE or SATA Drive adapter can handle all sizes and types of mass storage drives making this a great solution for recovering personal files from IDE or SATA drives that no longer boot the operating system.

  • Wouldn't it damaged the usb port if continuously used for too long?

which one is it? Does it only support up to 500gb or does it handle all sizes and types of mass storage devices?

  • ever though of connecting multiple hard drives and disk drives and build a portable enclosure so just plug it in with loads of hard drives :)

  • Who would invite him to a lan party anyways?

  • can I connect and run dvd drive to this ide to usb?

  • @macosxtheme you know if a harddrive that can be only use as slave will respond if you use this sata to usb things?? thanks

  • People bring loose hard drives to lan parties and then get together to hook them up? I find that very hard to believe. The LAN party comments in this video series are running a serious deficit in the credibility department.

  • your website says: unavailable to buy?

  • external hard drives are better
