For those of you who watch this. You need to find out more about your Economic Slavery. See Michael Moores article
http://www.alternet.org/blogs/peek/100749/the_rich_are_staging_a_coup_right_now/

"The $700 bailout bill is being driven by fear not fact. This is too much money, in too short of time, going to too few people, while too many questions remain unanswered. Why aren't we having hearingsWhy aren't we considering any other alternatives other than giving $700 billion to Wall Street? Why aren't we passing new laws to stop the speculation which triggered this? Why aren't we putting up new regulatory structures to protect the investors? Why aren't we directly helping homeowners with their debt burdens? Why aren't we helping American families faced with bankruptcy? Isn't time for fundamental change to our debt-based monetary system so we can free ourselves from the manipulation of the Federal Reserve and the banks? Is this the US Congress or the Board of Directors of Goldman Sachs?"
Rep. Dennis Kucinich

  • When the economic system comes to a halt, hands will still be able to dig, plant seeds, and draw water. The best thing that could happen to the World is the end of the monetary system, and a return to community living.

  • he tells the truth the sad thing is believing the truth hurts this is part of the reason we all are afraid to know the truth also telling the truth is risky many systems in this world isolates those who tell the truth by scaring the image of truth teller through ineundos and driving the truth teller into insanity homelessness, prison, crime and death but before it is too late, the truth must be told that the train is destined for a head on collision

  • i could listen to this fella all day !!!

  • this is a very interesting point of view. I really like to hear more about it.

  • @InfiniteMushroom in breal life you cant really store upvalue of labor. i do something and then its done. i cant do something and then save the action for some other time. If i pretend with the "fetish" of cash then im in a fantasy world where all sorts of illogic become possiabe. Eventually the dream becomes a nightmare and its time to wake up. The whole point is that it can't be saved. or manipulated, stolen taxed or lost to nature.

  • Marshal law means closing the courts; in other words, if the courts are not closed, it is not marshal law. Call it something else, but is not marshal law. Marshall law is a drastic measure, which is why it has never, ever, been implemented in the truest sense of the word. They may call their control mechanisms whatever they like, but if it does not include shutting down the courts, it is not marshal law.

  • This is an excellent post. Time Banking might be the answer to fill that gap between Barter, and hands on food growth. We still want our teeth fixed and we may need medical attention. Time Banking is easy to set up, and has worked well in certain areas for decades:

  • @angelablass The main trouble with barter it is impossible to store up labor value in a medium of exchange. You have to use what you have on hand to get what you need. You may have a house full of stuff or certain talents and still be unable to trade!

Gold, silver, or specie currency whose value is guaranteed by law, is why money developed. The problem with money is the government and the banks. Ancient China's currency lasted for centuries because it was guaranteed by the death penalty!

  • @minstral2 Sure!!!! look at the RESOURCE BASED ECONOMY promoted by the ZEITGEIST movement...fastest growing global movement on history!!!..Also as a transition solution Ecovillages are a great option.

Just an opinion......(based in tons of research)..

    Saludos!!

  • HD Thoreau and Thomas Paine are proud....great discussions. Now act.

  • @minstral2 I fully agree with your comment. I hope that you and I are not left here to do the work of feeding all of our brothers and sisters that do not know how to live in the manner of which you are speaking. More of our people should learn a little something to add to everyone in our struggle to stay alive This day will come!

  • Jct: Great video explaning the problem and I hope Sunny appreciates why I named my political party the Abolitionist Party (here to finish the job the metal chain Abolitionists didn't see by abolishing the invisible usury debt chains) and how the the UNILETS worldwide timebank is the computer program to forgive us our debts.
