Quote from CNN: "Mr. Liu, whose office registered the contract in May, said that a yes vote on the contract would essentially validate the company’s demands for cuts to workers’ health and benefit funds." Soooo....not only did Verizon get the contract, but looks like they received validation that Unions are out of touch, and its demands unreasonable. Union thugs lost again! LOL

You are all fucking idiots. Why dont you educate yourselves on the HORRIFIC changes Verizon is making to these CONTRACTED employees. The kids are there to remind Verizon of the far reach effects of their benefit cut, schooling cuts, and 401 k cuts they are making. Its not as black and white as giving these jobs to "unemployed people". Some of these workers went to school for years to get where they are with Verizon. They arent entry level idiots.
