A song I wrote and performed for my International Ag Development class. It was done kinda frantically so its kind of off timing in some parts but i'm kinda over it because I already got the A lol. The lyrics are below.

Who said, cutting down all the trees was a good thing
What are all the benefits
New crop land, wood for you homes
But did you think about what would happen when its gone

Well the birds are gone to protect from bugs
And the bugs ruin crops and bring disease
And the soil's real loose and it can't hold up
And the rain runoff pollutes drinking streams

Well, now your land is in disarray
And its gonna be rough, but if you're gonna stay
WIth education, you will see
Your land needs biodiversity

Replant some trees to start your movement
Now you see vast improvement
Just take it one day at a time

If you didn't know then, but now you see
How better land and crops would be
By adding some biodiversity

Who said, planting only one crop is a good thing
Let me tell you what's wrong with that
No one food gives you all the nutrition
