Lou,
Absolutely fantastic video, and very informative! I really appreciate the extra effort you have put forth in getting some great info out to us, and an outstanding kernel.
I am an aspiring Android developer, and I for one would definitely like to see more videos from you on compiling an AOSP kernel, and any other development areas.
You can find me on Rootzwiki @xRogerxC. If you ever need assistance with any project or testing, please let me know!

@OhHeyItsLou Will updating the kernel reset my setup?

Just gave you your hundredth thumb up! Good work!!! Can't wait for a detailed kernel video on the GNex!

Thanks for the vid and the kernel Lou. Running it for a day now on Axiom. So far so good. Really glad to see you on the SGN. I used your builds on the Incredible and never veered away from them. Thanks for your hard work. I think I've found my "perma-kernel" !

Awesome Lou! Lets see that kernel tutorial bro!
You your 100 thumbs up :)
So the basic steps to update the kernel are:
1. copy kernel to /cache
2. wipe cache partition
3. apply update from cache
I that right?
Another question: Will my settings on the phone be lost?

@dt3ft2 Copy the kernel to the root of your SD card from recovery wipe your dalvik cache then flash the kernel just as you would a Rom.

Awesome video Lou! Very nice! Im sure a lot of people other than myself will appreciate the thorough breakdown of the kernel we are installing on our precious devices! Should we be expecting a rom from you? I've always loved your work. Welcome to the Galaxy Nexus

@MrSlapyourself21 Thanks, I really appreciate the kind words! I've been batting the idea around of putting a Rom together for the Galaxy Nexus. With CM9 around the corner I'm not sure if I could compete lol we will see I guess.
