Jerry-Go-Round is a 1966 Tom and Jerry cartoon produced and directed by Chuck Jones. The title Jerry-Go-Round is a play on the name of a classic amusepark carousel: a merry-go-round.
Actually, Chuck didn't direct this; Abe Levitow, who was one of Jones' key animators at Warner Bros.in the late '50s, and who had recently left what was left of UPA Studios (after production ended on "THE FAMOUS ADVENTURES OF MR. MAGOO") did. In fact, this was Levitow's first directorial effort for Chuck at MGM, and supervised a majority of the Tom & Jerry series over the next two years while Jones concentrated on other projects {including "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!"}.
