Xconomy chief correspondent Wade Roush visited Sunnyvale, CA-based Tibion to learn about the company's robotic, battery-powered exoskeleton device, which is intended for rehabilitation clinics serving stroke victims. Tibion CEO Charles Remsberg believes that the device works by using proprioceptive feedback to stimulate neuroplasticity, the ability of the brain to rewire itself to compensate for damage.
