Old Comrades Careless Love Blues

This version of Careless Love Blues was recorded at The Harp Hotel, Albrighton, Shropshire, England on Sunday, January18th. 2009 by the Old Comrades Jazz Band.




The band line-up was Big Eric Dodgson on trombone, Dave Coles on clarinet and sax, Dave Shepherd on cornet, Daves Andrews on drums, Steve Slater on bass, Mike Wall on piano and Griff Lewis on banjo. At 82 leader Big Eric is probably the oldest working jazz trombone player in the country.but still playing and singing with the enthusiasm of the young!
Once again a brilliant gig at the Harp where sessions are held every Sunday lunchtime and Tuesday evening.
